I buy hundreds of cycling products with my own money, put them through real-world testing, and tell you exactly what gear delivers and what to avoid.

When I first got into cycling, I was surprised by how expensive everything was - an entry level carbon bike cost $2000, and basic accessories carried premium price tags just for being 'cycling gear.' I spent my first year buying from big brands, assuming that's what quality cost. A year later, I discovered smaller manufacturers often making better products for a fraction of the price. That's when I thought I should probably write a review or two...or 150.

I'm originally from the UK but I've lived in 4 different countries and traveled to 30 more. I'm currently based in HCMC, Vietnam.

I aim to complete two Ironman 70.3s every year. My last was in Da Nang with a time of 6h 27m. Reasonable, but definitely room for improvement!

I'm obsessed with cycling, triathlons and YouTube, so making cycling gear reviews combines all my passions into one incredibly satisfying project.
