We never review a product as soon as it lands on our doorstep. In fact, most products go through a 1-2 month testing process before we say a single word about it. That means quantifiable tests, real world riding, and then the review.
Quantifiable Tests
When we receive a product in the post - whether it's a road bike or carbon wheels, it's unboxed, weighed, measured, and photographed. Then we start testing - endoscope, truing, spoke tension - before any ride impressions creep in.
Real-World Riding
Once the tests in the lab are complete, we take it out on the road. Every carbon wheel gets at least 500km of real-world riding. We don't do 'first-impression' reviews - we ride it until we know exactly who it's for and where it falls short.
